PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mounted display having a storing part for storing a display arm. SOLUTION: A head mounted display body part 1 is mounted on a head part to sandwich both ears with a head phone 5, and used to pull the display arm 3 and a display part 4 from a display arm storing part 6 so as to position the display part 4 before eyes as shown on a two-dotted line in the figure. A full line moves the display arm 3 from the state in an arrow direction, and indicates the state that the display arm 3 is stored in the display arm storing part 6. In this state, a relative angle between a rear arm 2 and the display arm 3 is changed by turning the display arm storing part 6 around a shaft 7, and during use the display part 4 can be positioned before the eyes.
