<p>The invention relates to a method and device for the implementation thereof in order to recover a cargo of polluting liquids on board a wreck. The recovery method which is implemented from a drill ship (3) consists in vertically perforating the wall of the wreck using a hollow tool fitted with an obturating element and a pivoting watertight base; in pumping the liquid from the bottom and in abandoning the obturating die via the wall of the wreck. The device (1) for implementing said method comprises a heavy pump body (8) installed at the lower end of a drill string (2) and an obturating die (7) (or an obturating milling tool) which can be disconnected and abandoned via the wall of the wreck. The method can be more particularly applied to pumping petroleum products or chemical products enclosed inside deep wrecks of petrol tankers or chemical tankers.</p> |
