<p>A magnetic field-producing device (10) providing a magnetic field that is extremely uniform at plural positions. The magnetic field-producing device (10) includes a pair of plate-like yokes (12a, 12b) oppositely arranged so as to form a gap (G). A pair of opposite magnetic poles (14a, 14b) and a pair of opposite magnetic poles (16a, 16b) are arranged between the pair of the plate-like yokes (12a, 12b). The pair of the magnetic poles (14a, 14b) includes permanent-magnet groups (18a, 18b) arranged on the opposite faces of the pair of the plate-like yokes (12a, 12b), respectively. Magnetic pole pieces (20a, 20b) are fixed to the opposite faces of the permanent-magnet groups (18a, 18b), respectively. The pair of the magnetic poles (16a, 16b) includes permanent-magnet groups (22a, 22b) arranged on the opposite faces of the pair of the plate-like yokes (12a, 12b), respectively. Magnetic pole pieces (24a, 24b) are fixed to the opposite faces of the permanent-magnet groups (22a, 22b), respectively. Spaces (F1, F2) with a uniform magnetic field are formed between the magnetic pole pieces (20a, 20b) and between the magnetic pole pieces (24a, 24b), respectively.</p> |
