AQUEOUS RELEASE AGENT COMPOSITION HAVING EXCELLENT PAINTABILITY FOR DIE CASTING

PURPOSE: Provided is an aqueous release agent composition for die casting, which has excellent lubricative or release property on a high-temperature die as well as a low-temperature die and excellent paintability. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous release agent composition for die casting comprises: 5-70 wt% of a siloxane mixture containing methylphenylpolysiloxane and alkyl-modified polysiloxane mixed in the weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:5; and 0.1-20 wt% of an emulsifying agent based on the weight of the siloxane mixture. Particularly, the methylphenyl polysiloxane has a dynamic viscosity of 100-3000 cSt at 25 deg.C and a modifying ratio of 1-45%. Further, the alkyl-modified polysiloxane includes a C7-C15 alkyl chain and has a dynamic viscosity of 100-3000 cSt at 25 deg.C and a modifying ratio of 50-100%.
