Pharmaceutical preparation for topic application

In the present invention, there is disclosed the use of an azelaic acid suspension and/or sodium salt thereof in an emulsion or gel excipient for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition intended for topic application when treating prostate disease, erection disorders and for increase of sexual activity. Amount of azelaic acid in the pharmaceutical composition ranges within 8.0 to 25.0 percent by weight based on the composition total weight. The pharmaceutical composition is intended for application to penis, testicles or rectum. Substances forming the emulsion or gel excipient are selected from the group consisting of vegetable oil, monoacylglycerol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, sorbic acid, sodium hydroxide, beeswax, propylene glycol, 2-bromo-2-nitroo-1,3-propanediol, ethanol, preservative agents and water, as well as mixtures thereof.
