Dispensing apparatus 1 comprising a housing formed from a first part 2 and a second part 3 which are movable from an open position to permit insertion of a dispensing container (100, Fig 3) into the interior of the housing to a closed position in which removal of a dispensing container is prevented. The dispensing apparatus 1 further comprising a locking member 85 mounted to, and movable into and out of engagement with the second part 23 to lock the first 2 and second 3 parts together in the closed position. The locking member may be moved by a motor 70 and may prevent operation of the dispenser. |
