The device has a longitudinal part (2) mounted on another (1) to carry a scale (9) such that the length of these two parts position the tiles. The sliding of the parts is locked at a determined position to the gauge with the help of a blocking unit (3, 5) of sliding of the parts. The end of the sliding part has a tracing unit (6) to print a mark on the framework corresponding to the gauge interval of the tiles.
