PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car door device for an elevator allowing to miniaturize a sill of the car and reduce the weight thereof and allowing to reduce the cost for the sill of the car. SOLUTION: The sill 5 of the car is arranged under a door main body 1 for the car for opening/closing an entrance of the car. The sill 5 of the car has a sill groove 6 extended along the moving direction of the door main body 1 for the car. Legs 7 for the door are provided under the door main body 1 for the car. The legs 7 for the door are provided to be inserted into the sill groove 6, and possible to be displaced in the vertical direction in relation to the door main body 1 for the car. An energizing spring 9 is fitted to the door main body 1 for the car through a fitting 8. The legs 7 for the door are pushed to the sill groove 6 by the energizing spring 9.
