PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal amplifier capable of suppressing thermal runaway in a power transistor used for a signal amplification circuit or the like. SOLUTION: The signal amplifier comprises a fourth power transistor Q4 for amplifying an input signal, a heat sink 3 that is joined to the fourth power transistor Q4 and discharges heat generated in the fourth power transistor Q4 to the outside, a first transistor Q1 that is joined to the heat sink 3 and applies a bias voltage to the fourth power transistor Q4, and a sixth power transistor Q6 that is connected to the first transistor Q1 in parallel with the fourth power transistor Q4 and has heat generation characteristics proportional to those of the fourth power transistor Q4.
