PURPOSE: A fully automatic washing machine is provided to prevent eccentricity and to increase the output of the motor by directly connecting an outer rotor motor to the lower part of a clutch with simple structure, and to improve washing efficiency by rotating the pulsator without rotating the washing tub in the agitation mode. CONSTITUTION: A fully automatic washing machine comprises an outer tub installed in an outer case; a washing tub rotated and installed in the outer tub; a pulsator rotated and installed in the lower part of the washing tub; a dehydrating shaft(100) rotating the washing tub; a washing shaft(200) combined with the pulsator; a clutch housing surrounding the dehydrating shaft; a stator assembly(400) generating the rotating magnetic field; a rotor assembly(500) inducing current and generating rotational force; a clutch assembly(600) having a control unit controlling the dehydrating shaft and the washing shaft; a drain valve regulating washing water in the outer tub; a gear motor interlocking the drain valve with a brake lever, and operating the brake lever at 1 or 2-stage for controlling the driving unit and the drain unit; and a brake assembly(700) stopping rotation of the dehydrating shaft with the brake lever and a brake pad(780). The pulsator rotates by turning the rotor assembly in applying power to the stator assembly after cutting off power to the dehydrating shaft. Reverse rotation of the dehydrating shaft is controlled by fixing the dehydrating shaft with the brake assembly. |
