PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge in which falling and coming off of a cartridge pin attributable to a gap between shells caused by the dropping of the cartridge can be prevented. SOLUTION: A cartridge pin 22 preventing contact between a magnetic tape 20 paid out from a tape reel 14 and a periphery part 35a of an opening part 35 of a cartridge case 13 is screwed and coupled to a cartridge case 13. By this constitution, coupling strength of an upper shell 11 and a lower shell 12 at a forming position of the opening part 35 is improved, simultaneously, falling and coming off of the cartridge pin 22 with respect to the shell are prevented, and reliability of the tape cartridge C can be improved.
