PURPOSE: A full automatic washing machine is provided to ensure strong rotational force required for washing and high rotative velocity required for dehydrating while simplifying the structure of a clutch and to perform an agitating washing mode of performing washing without rotating a washing tub in rotating washing blades. CONSTITUTION: A full automatic washing machine with an outer rotor-type BLDC(Brushless Direct Current) motor comprises an outer tub installed in an outer case constituting the exterior of the washing machine; a washing tub rotatably installed inside the outer tub; washing blades rotatably installed at the inner bottom of the washing tub; a dehydrating shaft(100) rotating the washing tub; a washing shaft(200) joined to the washing blades; a clutch housing covering the dehydrating shaft; a stator assembly(400) producing a rotative magnetic field; a rotor assembly(500) forming a magnetic path and comprising a rotor frame, magnets, and a washing shaft-combining part; a clutch assembly(600) including a sliding coupler(650) controlling power transmission and a control unit to control movement of the sliding coupler; and a brake assembly(700) for the braking of the rotation of the dehydrating tub. The full automatic washing machine executes washing after applying power to the stator assembly and rotating the rotor assembly to rotate only the washing blades, and fixing the dehydrating shaft by the brake assembly. In a dehydrating stroke, the dehydrating shaft and the washing shaft are integrally rotated by moving the sliding coupler downward and the brake assembly is released from the dehydrating shaft. |
