PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus duct and a plug-in appliance capable of facilitating the inspection of a connection state of a connection portion between the bus duct and the plug-in appliance and a branch connection portion in the plug-in appliance. SOLUTION: The bus duct 1 stores and retains a plurality of plate-shaped conductors 10 in a housing 11. The duct 1 includes a plug-in hole 3 for fitting the plug-in appliance 2 to the housing 11, and an inspection window 4 provided at a position facing the plug-in hole 3. The plug-in appliance 2 mounted and branched on the bus duct 1 for storing and retaining the plurality of plate-shaped conductors in the housing 11 includes inspection windows 5, 6 at positions which permits the electrical connection portion in the appliance 2 to be seen.
