PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loom disorder detection/switching system for preventing a loom from declining in operating efficiency due to the disorder of base plates, control unit function or operating condition. SOLUTION: The loom disorder detection/switching system comprises a control unit equipped in the controller for the loom and provided with electronic parts having information for use therein and the plurality of base plates for selective use therein, a monitoring means functioning to monitor the presence/absence of disorders in the base plates in use and output a relevant signal when sensed a disorder, and a switching means functioning to switch the base plate in question used in the controller to another base plate in response to the signal's input.
