PURPOSE: An apparatus for correcting a miss convergence of a deflection yoke is provided to improve a beam sigma without changing the structure of the deflection yoke. CONSTITUTION: Two vertical deflection coils(VC1,VC2) are disposed in series in a magnetic field input end. The first and second resistors(R1,R2) are disposed in parallel to the two vertical deflection coils(VC1,VC2). The first variable resistor(VR1) connects to a connection point of the two vertical deflection coils(VC1,VC2) in parallel, and varies and divides the level of a voltage loaded in the connection point. The fifth and sixth diodes(D5,D6) connect to the second vertical deflection coils(VC2) in parallel in a forward direction and an inverse direction, respectively. The first and second coma free coils(CF B1, CF B2) connect to a cathode of the fifth diode(D5) and an anode of the sixth diode(D6), respectively. The fourth resistor(R4) connects to the cathode of the fifth diode(D5) and a final terminal of the first coma free coil(CF B1). One side of the third resistor(R3) connects to the anode of the sixth diode(D6) and a final terminal of the second coma free coil(CF B2), and the other side of the third resistor(R3) connects to the fourth resistor(R4). One side of the third variable resistor(VR3) connects to the cathode of the fifth diode(D5) and the final terminal of the first coma free coil(CF B1), and the other side of the third variable resistor(VR3) connects to the anode of the sixth diode(D6) and the final terminal of the second coma free coil(CF B2). A secondary wire is inversely wired to a primary wire in wiring directions of the first and second coma free coils(CF B1, CF B2).
