<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having a capacitive load and a capacitive load driving circuit which has a simple circuit configuration and can efficiently collect and reuse energy stored in the capacitive load. <P>SOLUTION: The device with the capacitive load 311 and the capacitive load driving circuit 301 has a power terminal 309a to which a power supply voltage is supplied, a grounding terminal C(0), capacitors C(1)-C(3), and switching elements S(0)-S(4) for switching connection of the capacitive load. The capacitors are connected sequentially from the capacitor of a lower initial potential to the capacitive load after the grounding terminal is connected to the capacitive load. The capacitive load is connected to the power terminal. Then, the capacitors are connected sequentially from the capacitor of a higher initial potential to the capacitive load. A capacitance component of the capacitors, a capacitance of the capacitive load, a switching time of the switching elements, and a resistance value of a charging discharging route of the capacitors to the capacitive load are set to satisfy a predetermined relational formula. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
