DRIVE BELT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability and abrasive resistance of a drive belt. SOLUTION: Canvas 18 is a woven fabric and has convex parts 18a and concave parts 18b. Outer surfaces of the convex parts 18a formed by the canvas 18 are coated with resin films (resin layers) 20, and outer surfaces of the concave parts 18b formed by the canvas 18 are filled with inflow elastomer layers 21. When viewed from above, an upper face of a toothed belt 10 is formed in stripes by the inflow elastomer layers 21 and the resin films 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
