PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent boiling phenomenon of hot water temperature caused by overshooting by detecting heating load and correcting a setting temperature. SOLUTION: A hot water heating device is structured with a temperature setting correction part 13 of hot water for correcting a temperature setting of hot water so as not to raise the temperature setting of hot water higher than a predetermined temperature in predetermined times of combustion from operation start, a temperature fall time measurement part 19 for monitoring heat radiation of the hot water temperature at the time of thermo-OFF, a temperature raise time measurement part 20 for monitoring temperature rise of a hot water detection part 4 at the time of re-starting combustion by thermo-ON and a load judgement part 21 for instructing to lower the setting temperature of hot water in the case that the temperature fall time measurement part 19 judges that hot water circuit load is small and for instructing a combustion control part 17 to stop combustion in the case that temperature raise time measurement part 20 judges that the hot water circuit load is small.
