PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil absorption board capable of utilizing a used rush-mat. SOLUTION: The oil absorption board 1 is to dip the used rush-mat 4 principally formed of a rush-mat facing 2 having a rush as a main component, and a rush-mat bed 3 having a straw as a main component into a water glass component 5, then compress, harden, and regenerate. Since the main component of the oil absorption board 1 is the straw, the oil absorption board 1 absorbs oil effectively, so that the oil absorption board 1 can be used in a factory or the like where a large amount of oil is used. Further, since the oil absorption board 1 is hardened to a specific thickness due to the water glass component 5, the oil absorption board 1 is stable when being laid to a floor surface of the factory or the like, and can be used safely. Further, the oil absorption board 1 utilizes the used rush-mat 4 so that this can be manufactured in a low cost.
