Panel unit swing mechanism

A rectangular plate-like panel unit (7), which is supported by a support unit (5), is swung to horizontal (FIG. 1) or vertical state (FIG. 9). A swing shaft (17) and a guide member (18) are arranged in the panel unit, while a movement regulating guide groove (14) and a swing shaft guide groove (13) in the support unit. When the panel unit is swung from horizontal to vertical state and vice versa, the guide member is moved along the movement regulating guide groove and the swing shaft is moved up and down along the swing shaft guide groove, to thereby prevent a lower corner of the panel unit from being projected downward and enable the panel unit to be more smoothly swung.
