<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fusion joint capable of solving the problem of penetration of organic solvent existing in the outside environment to give bad effects on water quality in a pipe so as to restrict penetration of a solvent over a long period in a pipe and the electric fusion joint comprising a polyolefin resin in a buried city water piping. <P>SOLUTION: This electric fusion joint 1 comprising a plurality of resin layers, with heat wires provided inside, is provided with a major layer 2 comprising the polyolefin-based resin, a protective layer 4 comprising the polyolefin-based resin formed on the major layer 2, and an intermediate layer 3 having resistance to penetration of an organic solvent provided between the major layer 2 and the protective layer 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
