<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that handling of a circulated document is insufficient in a document managing device. <P>SOLUTION: A document file storing part 110 stores a document file to be circulated. A processing part 250 detects the erasure request of the document file. When the erasure request is detected, the processing part 250 executes pre-erasure processing preliminarily set for each erasure instruction type, and erases the document file from the document file storing part 110.
