摘要 <p>Control device for a multi-stage turbocharger comprising a series of switched turbochargers (26, 30) and an operating condition measurement device (40, 48, 50). The control device has selection means for selecting an operating range dependent on the operating condition measurements and a regulation unit for regulating at least one turbocharger stage with a higher priority than the other turbocharger stage, such that the achieved pressure lies within a regulation range and is essentially constant, while the other turbocharger is used to achieve a set varying charging pressure. An independent claim is made for regulation and control method for a multi-stage turbocharger.</p>
