<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-store commodity stock state announcement system enabling the real-time confirmation of the commodity display quantity or commodity stock quantity of every kind of commodities by mounting an IC tag with an IC chip storing different commodity information for each kind of commodities, thereby storing different specification information for each of various kinds of commodities. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises the IC tab 2 mounted on each of commodities G1-Gn displayed in a store, the IC tab storing the different commodity specification information for each kind of the commodities G1-Gn, a commodity specification information reading means 10 for reading the commodity specification information stored in the IC tag 2, and an in-store commodity stock information database 20 for recording and registering in-store commodity stock information such as in-store display quantity and in-store stock quantity of each of commodities 1-n displayed.
