摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve a large screen of a display image by conducting the self alignment of an effective range of an electron source on cathode wiring and an aperture of a control electrode, and to enhance a yield and obtain the display image on the large screen with high productivity. SOLUTION: A plurality of apertures 11a passing electrons emitted from an electron source 2a to the inner surface side of a front substrate are installed in a region facing each electron source 2a on the cathode wiring 2 of a ceramic substrate 11, a metal film 12 controlling the amount of electrons is formed on the upper surface of the ceramic substrate 11, and thereby, the control electrode 10 having each aperture 10a is formed on a coax as each aperture 11a of the ceramic substrate 11. By arranging the ceramic substrate 11 on a rear substrate 1 having each electron source 2a on the cathode wiring 2 so that the metal film 12 is faced to the front substrate 5 side, the apertures 10a of the control electrode 10 are aligned with the electron sources 2a on the cathode wiring 2.
