PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing assist guide capable of accurately and surely printing in relation to a thin and soft raw material and capable of easily printing without requiring the labor before and after printing, and a printing method. SOLUTION: This printing assist guide 100 to be used for printing in relation to a sheet-like printing material P has a support surface 102 for supporting the printing material P and provided with multiple ventilating narrow holes 102a formed with nearly even distribution, and a sucking means for sucking the printing paper P through the narrow holes 102a.
