PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article by which the presence/no presence of urination easily and visually recognized by markedly varying a color between before and after urination. SOLUTION: The absorptive article comprises: a water soluble transparent resin layer 10 formed directly on a surface 3a opposing to an absorber 4 at a liquid impermeable back sheet 3; and a water soluble ink layer 11 formed directly on the transparent resin layer 10 in the forming area of the transparent resin layer 10. A prescribed character, mark or picture pattern 31 is expressed with the water soluble ink layer 11.
