PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collide a pulse laser beam with a pulse-like electron beam to generate X-rays in a plurality of positions. SOLUTION: This X-ray generator has an electron beam source for generating the pulse-like electron beam while synchronized with the first synchronization signal imparted from an outside, a laser beam source for emitting the pulse laser beam to be collided with the electron beam generated in the electron beam source while synchronized with the second synchronization signal imparted from the outside, a synchronization means for transmitting the first and second synchronization signals to collide the pulse laser beam emitted from the laser beam source with the electron beam generated in the electron beam source, the first deflection means for deflecting the the pulse laser beam emitted from the laser beam source and the collided electron beam, and the first optical path regulating means for regulating an optical path of the pulse laser beam collided with the electron beam to collide the pulse laser beam with the electron beam after deflected by the first deflection means.
