The present discloses an open polyethylene drum of 200 liters for storing and transporting liquids, fabricated in three pieces by blow extrusion process, the lid made by injection process with the packaging and the loop or metallic belt made of galvanized steel. The drum is barrel-shaped, a lower open bottom at the upper part that allows it to fill or empty rapidly. It has a reinforcement ring at the upper part forming a trough in its exterior diameter with a lip allowing the lid assembly. The bottom has a pan-shaped form that facilitates its handling and stacking. The lid is flat; the steel galvanized metallic ring has a manual closure mechanism allowing an easy assembly in the drum and an adequate adjustment with the lid.
