The invention relates to computer engineering, mobile computers, radiotelephones and control panels. Said invention makes it possible to modify the content and dimensions of a visual keyboard interface in a real-time mode according to touches, clicks, side touches and keystrokes on a keyboard and to denote a symbol by touching and afterwards give a command for entering thus denoted symbol. The invention also makes it possible to operate with symbols whose size is less than a fingertip surface, thereby arranging an entire text keyboard in miniature mobile devices and ensuring insymbol procedure at an algorithm of one entered symbol by one touch using the inventive keyboard. In addition to currently used units, said keyboard comprises a visual output unit (5) which makes it possible to form an image on the working surface of keys (2) which is touched by a user and to which he presses. The keyboard is provided with a scanning (sensor) co-ordinate input unit (6) which makes it possible to define the position and motion of material objects with respect to the working surface of the keys (2) and the images thereon at contact points of said material bodies with the working surface of the keys (2).
