<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time management system capable of managing the time for a plurality of vehicles, by precisely grasping the time information of the vehicles an apparatus outside the vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with each vehicle V1, V2 and so on provided with vehicle-mounted apparatuses 701, and a center apparatus 710 for retaining a precise standard time and installed outside the vehicles. In the vehicle mounted apparatuses 701, a clock count means 703 starts counting of the clock signals by starting of an engine etc., the number of counts counted above and information of starting of the counting are transmitted to the center apparatus 710. The center apparatus 710 calculates accurate time of when the clock count means 703 of the vehicle mounted apparatus 701 started to count the clock signals, based on the retaining standard time of day information, the counted numbers, and the count the information transmitted from the mounted apparatus 701 is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
