<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit video image source information by a single connection line even if a plurality of monitors are to receive the information. <P>SOLUTION: Requested video image source information is received from an arbitrary monitor among the plurality of monitors 109, 110, 111 and 112 which are connected via a common cable 108, each having a peculiar address. A video image source concerned with the request of the monitor and the monitor address are analyzed. Based on the analysis results, a storage device 107 which stores a sequence indicating the correspondence between a plurality of video image sources and the respective monitor addresses is referred to, and the monitor address is added to the video image source information for transmitting to the monitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
