<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and size of an OLED display unit with a touch screen, and obtain reduced cost and high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The OLED display unit with a touch screen includes a substrate; an OLED display having an individually addressable OLED array formed on the substrate; and a touch screen having an OLED luminescent formed on the substrate, an optical sensor formed on the substrate and disposed separately from the luminescent and the display, and an optical element disposed on the luminescent and the optical sensor on the periphery of the display to direct light emitted from the luminescent to the optical sensor through the display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
