PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lock system capable of unlocking a lock mechanism provided at an electric lock body, by the operation of a remote control without preparing an electronic master key for the time when an unlocking code of the electronic lock body is unknown nor storing a master code (a common unlocking code) in the electric lock body. SOLUTION: When the unlocking code is unknown because an unlocking code written label 9 stuck to an electronic lock body 7 comes off or the like, the electronic lock body 7 transmits question data 6a in response to a request from the remote control 1, and the remote control 1 transmits answer information for the question data 6a.
