PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter whose filter medium can spontaneously be decomposed after use and is provided with a sufficiently high collection efficiency. SOLUTION: This filter comprises, as the filter medium 2, a nonwoven fabric made of single yarns of a spontaneously decomposable resin containing a synthetic resin material and a synthetic resin decomposing component for decomposing the synthetic resin material and is produced by pleating the filter medium 2 and fixing the pleated material with a bead-like adhesive 3.
