PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use the surplus resources of a plurality of computers. SOLUTION: In a topology management server device 103, an identifier for identifying a database object to be managed in a database management device and an identifier for identifying the database device are managed in association with each other. When a plurality of computers 104, 105-106 transmit a cache request including the identifier for identifying the database object to the topology management server device 103 in order to cache the database object, the server device 103 transfers the cache request to the database management device, so that the database object is transmitted to the computer and cached there.
