PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an image processing method and a solid-state imaging apparatus for surely obtaining appropriate image output without delay. SOLUTION: In the image processing method for reading image signals from a matrix type solid-state imaging device in which a plurality of unit pixels having a photodiode and a transistor for optical signal detection are arrayed, in the case that the number of lines between a read line and a clear line is equal to or less than the number of lines of the matrix and an imaging condition is changed, shift data for the read line for outputting a read line selection signal are outputted to a shift register for the read line. In the case that the imaging condition is changed when the number of the lines between the read line and the clear line exceeds the number of the lines of the matrix, the output of the shift data for the read line to the shift register for the read line is inhibited.
