OVERFLOW TROUGH STRUCTURE IN SEDIMENTATION BASIN / THICKENER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overflow trough structure in a sedimentation basin/thickener reduced in malodor by preventing splash of overflow water in an overflow trough overflowing thereto from the sedimentation basin/thickener, and suppressing gasification and dispersion of malodor components like hydrogen sulfide dissolved in treating water. SOLUTION: Overflow water guiding means 5, 6, 7, 8 making overflow water flow down in a straightened state from notch parts 4 are provided from the notch parts 4 at the upper part of overflow plates 2 to a bottom part 1a of the overflow trough.
