PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture-absorbing/desorbing material having an improved absorbing/desorbing performance, being easily treated, and capable of reducing vent resistance, when incorporated in a ventilator. SOLUTION: After powder having absorbing/desorbing properties is granulated, a globular moisture-absorbing/desorbing material 54 is formed and burned into substantially a globule of 3-30 mm particle size. A moisture-absorbing/desorbing ball 50 comprise the globular moisture absorbing/desorbing material 54, and a breathable globular vessel 52 which is breathable and substantially globular, and filled with the globular moisture-absorbing/desorbing material 54.
