PURPOSE: A motor control device for electric driven reel, having a function for preventing the heating value of a motor, is provided to control the calorific value of a motor and to prevent the electric element from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: The motor control device for electric driven reel, which variably controls the electric motor of the electric driven reel for driving a spool, includes: a rotation state setting unit, setting the rotation state of the electric motor; a motor controller, outputting the driving pulse signal of a frequency over 10kHz, whose pulse width is changed according to the rotation state, set by the rotation state setting unit; a field effect transistor(60), connected to the electric motor so as to switch on/off the direct current power from the power supply according to the driving pulse signal, output from the controller; and a motor drive, having a condenser for smoothing the direct current power and driving the electric motor in the pulse-width modulating manner.
