lock for sliding leaves of doors, windows or similar items, with a button for moving a hirizonatlly reciprocating locking bolt and a co-operating bell part which bears a horizontally arranged cavity for the receptiion of the bolt. The button formspart of an integral body incorporating the locking bolt and an intermediate body where the locking/unlocking movement of the lock is defined along with a plastic hooking mechanism. A locking plate co-operates with the hooking mechanism. A locking plate co-operates with the hooking mechanism in the "shut" position. A small shaft acting as an operating handle protrudes from a flat surface at the side of the movement button of the pin. The case/gasket of the elements of the lock bears internal pipe-like shafts around the support holes onto the frame which penetrate into the respective holes of the cover achieving immediate and easy attachement of the cover. The locking bolt has an increased volume and offers increased protection due to a favorable cross section which is a combination of a semicircular and rectangular shape, whereas it bears an obliquely cut ending, resulting in avoiding breakage or deformation of the bolt or bell part in case of their collision, as the bolt will retreatin such case. |
