A protective casing according to the present invention accommodates electric components such as rechargeable batteries 2 and a protective circuit board 3. The protective casing may comprise a casing body 1A and a lid 1b for example. The casing body 1A is integrally formed with a first terminal segment 4. The first terminal segment 4 electrically connects a terminal 30 of the protective circuit board 3 and a terminal 41 provided externally of the protective casing. The lid 1B is integrally formed with a second terminal segment 21. The second terminal segment 21 electrically connects the terminal 30 of the protective circuit board 3 and a power supply terminal 42 provided externally of the protective casing.
