PURPOSE: A hair dye composition is provided, thereby improving endurance of hair dye, and effectively removing remaining dye and impurities in the skin and hairs. CONSTITUTION: The hair dye composition comprises cationic compound represented by formula (1), anionic surfactant, and nonionic surfactant in a mole ratio of 0.1:1:0.01 to 1:1:1, wherein R1, R2, R3 and R5 are independently C1-C20 saturated or unsaturated alkyl, benzyl, hydroxy ethyl, 1 to 20 of ethylene oxide added hydroxy ethyl, or 1 to 20 of propylene oxide added hydroxy ethyl; R4 is independently C1-C20 alkyl, 1 to 10 of ethylene oxide added alkyl, 1 to 10 of propylene oxide added alkyl or at least one hydroxy bound alkyl; X is halogen, sulfate or acetate; and a is an integer of 1 to 20, wherein the anionic surfactant is a compound of formula (2) in which R6 is C8-C20 alkyl, M is sodium, potassium, magnesium, triethanolamine or ammonium ion, and b is 0 to 4; and the nonionic surfactant is a compound of formula (3), formula (4) or formula (5) in which R7 is C8-C20 alkyl, R8 and R9 are independently C1-C3 alkyl, R10 is C8-C20 alkyl, x is 0 or 1, R11 is C8-C20 alkyl or C8-C20 alkyl phenyl, and y is an integer of 3 to 50.
