PURPOSE: A fixing terminal for fixing external electrode fluorescent lamps is provided to fix all of the fluorescent lamps to a single fixing terminal irrespective of the number of the fluorescent lamps. CONSTITUTION: A fixing terminal(10) for fixing external electrode fluorescent lamps(20) includes a substrate(11) and a clip(12). The surface of the substrate is coated with solder or an adhesive. The clip is mounted on the surface of the substrate, coated with the solder or adhesive, to fix the external electrode fluorescent lamps. The substrate has a contact(11a) at which a wire(30) is grounded, and a bolt insertion hole(11b) through which the fixing terminal is fixed to a housing of a liquid crystal display requiring the fluorescent lamps using a bolt.
