The device has an electrical energy supply module (1) with an auxiliary (1A) and a principle electric powering circuit (1B). The auxiliary circuit supplies electrical energy in continuous manner to a security light source (SS) from a dynamo (D), irrespective of speed of a bicycle. The principle circuit supplies electric energy discontinuously to a principle light source (SP) based on the speed that is below threshold speed.
