<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for allowing a reuse paper sheet without damaging the paper sheet sandwiched by a nip of a feed roller and a reverse roller when a jam is caused. <P>SOLUTION: When stopping a machine by the jam caused except in a paper feeder, a feed clutch is turned off, and the transmission of motive power to the feed roller from a driving motor is cut off. The feed roller is stopped after continuing driving of the driving motor for a prescribed time in a freely rotatable state, and rotation of a reverse shaft driven by the driving motor is transmitted to the reverse roller via a torque limiter, and the paper sheet nipped between the reverse roller and the feed roller is returned by driving the reverse roller in the anti-paper feeding direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
