INTERRUPTION INDICATOR FOR PNEUMATIC STRAPPING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interruption indication for a pneumatic strapping tool.

SOLUTION: The strapping tool has pistons disposed inside a cylinder housing and a cylinder and melting motors connected with the pistons and a melting element connected with the pistons for melting a band by allowing the element to come into contact with the band. A pneumatic module is mounted on the cylinder housing to supply a compressed gas to the cylinder housing and the melting motors. The interruption indicator includes a sleeve fitted into an opening of the pneumatic module. The opening is disposed on the cylinder and communicates with the cylinder. The indicator is mounted inside the sleeve with the same energized and is disposed to come into contact with the pistons. The indicator is reciprocated between an indraft position and a stretch position to indicate the cycle of the strapping tool as the cycling condition that the pistons are pressurized and the interrupted condition that the pistons are not pressurized, to allow the melting element to come into contact with the band by a pressure which is received by the cylinder.
