<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector device which can easily confirm that a flat cable having a winding direction inverting unit is in a neutral state. <P>SOLUTION: The flat cable 34 housed in an annular room formed between an inside rotary case 12 and an outside fixed case 14 has an inside winding unit 34b wound in one direction along the outer periphery of an inner cylinder 16, an inverting unit 34c for inverting the winding direction, and an outside winding unit 34d for winding reversely along the inner periphery of an outer cylinder 20. The inverting unit 34c is moved in association with the rotation of the inside rotary case 12. A visually recognizing window 24 for visually observing the inverting unit 34c when the flat cable is in the neutral state, is provided in the inside rotary case 12. Aligning marks 26, 28 provided in the inside rotary case 12 and coincident when the flat cable is in the neutral state, are respectively provided at the inside rotary case 12 and the outside fixed case 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
