PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of an ejection defective nozzle due to a bubble which may be generated from an air dissolved in ink by a high frequency vibration by virtue of driving of a PZT by removing the air from within an ink supply system and to raise the reliability in the ejection, thereby to obtain a good image. SOLUTION: In a main ink tank and a sub-ink tank of this inkjet recorder, ink is filled in flexible vessels each being in a vacuum condition and not opened to the air. The main ink tank has a pressurizing means for supplying the ink to the sub-tank. A fluid passage stopping means is provided to each of an ink pipe connecting the main ink tank to the sub-ink tank and an ink pipe connecting the sub-ink tank to a head. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
