PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal gasket of S-shaped section and a sealing construction fitted therewith to exhibit a high sealing performance stably whether the fastening load is high or low. SOLUTION: The metal gasket 10 is structured so that ring-shaped projections 13 and 14 are formed on flat parts 11a and 12a of the ring-shaped metal gasket having an S-shaped longitudinal section.
